“But Alex, I don’t want to meet your friends” I moaned to him, my mum had left me with my cousin, he and I get on well but he’d chosen to invite his over hyper friends round, I couldn’t even get away from him and his friends
“You’ll like them.” He told me jumping up from the sofa and answering the door to his three friends who came running in. rolling my eyes I picked up a magazine and began flicking through it. Suddenly two people came and sat down next to me.
“Alex, introduce us to your cousin,” the guy to my left said to Alex.
“This is y/n. she’s going to be stuck with us until my mum’s home.” Alex moaned at them going into the kitchen. I tried to carry on reading my magazine but I had someone annoying me on my side.
“JACK! Leave my cousin alone.” Alex shouted to the guy sitting next to me and annoying me. I smiled at him; he picked up the magazine in my hand and threw it to the ground. My eyes widen. He stuck out his tongue at me and I pushed him to the ground, he grabbed my ankle and pulled me down with him.
“OI!” I shouted to him and he playfully punched my shoulder.
One more exam, I’ve got this I told myself getting up from my bed and going down stairs to check my mail. I stayed in the most typical dorm room, boring and small. With that in mind it gave me an excuse to get out, but with all these exams I barely got to see the light of day lately. I opened up my letter box and picked up all the letters before going upstairs and beginning my English revision. Headphones in, music on. Pen at the ready. Let’s do this!
Before I knew it, it was half 3 and I was not even half way through my notes, this was tough, the only thing keeping me going is being able to fly out to America after the exam to see my boyfriend Alex. I knew the more I looked over these notes, the quicker the day would be over and the closer to see Alex I’d be. I closed my eyes and leant my head back, leaning it against the wall. 2 minutes, just a little nap.
There was a loud bang and I woke straight up, wait it was only my music coming from my headphones, I rubbed my eyes and turned around to look at the time, half 4 an hours sleep, woops I over did my nap. Taking the headphones from my ears there was a knock at the door; I got up and opened it.
To my surprise there was a tall guy, dressed in skinny jeans, a loose glamour kills top and a hoodie. I stared into his eyes to see his jet lag starting to take its toll, my Alex was here. Standing in my door way. Wrapping my arms around his neck and planting the soft kiss onto his lips.
